Did You Know?

McLouth Public Library is not as small as you think. McLouth Public Library is a member of NEKLS. What is NEKLS? NEKLS is the Northeast Kansas Library System it consists of a mix of urban, suburban and rural areas in a 14-county region that includes more than 44% of the total Kansas population. NEKLS has a diverse membership of 117 libraries! What does that mean to all of you? You have access to a lot more books than what is in McLouth Public Library. You can look on the NEXT library catalog from the comfort of your house and conveniently order books or videos to be delivered to McLouth Public Library. You will get an email or text when books or videos arrive. Our courier delivers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. How awesome is that? All of this is free, all you need is a library membership.

McLouth Public Library is constantly adding to our collection and weeding to make room. Come in and check us out. If there is a book or video we don’t have we will search NEXT for you and get it ordered. We love to do this!

The Water Tower painting on our post was done by our very own local artist Penny Woodring. Thank you.
